How to design a logo in 100 seconds

Logos by Kieran Harrod

A good while back, when I had a little more time on my hands, when the business was fresh and new, I put together a video of my logo design process. It’s condensed in a couple of ways, firstly I set everything up so I was sketching immediately, so some of the front end research and loads of the idea generation and thinking that goes off in my head isn’t included.

It’s also a very compact project for a pretty run of the mill client. It was to be delivered in 3 days and only consisted of the logo itself and not any wider branding applications. It was for an injury compensation website and hardly blue chip or exciting.

However as a “how to design a logo” video, I think it still holds some good value, I usually direct customers to it so they can see the kind of thing that happens once we start work on a logo.

So here you go, “How to design a logo in 100 seconds”:

Submit a Designs for Review

I’d be delighted to receive your recommendations for brands and logos to review. All submissions should provide a link to a portfolio page or case study with multiple images. The more information you can provide, the more likely a brand will be reviewed.

Only real projects will be reviewed, please don’t link to concept logos or proposed rebrands.

Submission does not guarantee a review. Size, quality and other subjective factors all play into what might be reviewed.
