William Morris Design Line

I worked on a branding project down in Walthamstowe just as lockdown kicked in, it had a sprinkle of William Morris as inspiration (we even did some community lino printing) so this one peaked my interest when it hit my feed.

Created by Arthur Stovell of mondial it mostly eschews the heavy pattern most famously linked with Morris, for a typographical solution aligning the uppercase “i’s” to form a route like element.

It’s at it’s best in my opinion when the i dash graphic is used to form patterns, which look striking in the 2 colour black on neon yellow applications.

Submit a Designs for Review

I’d be delighted to receive your recommendations for brands and logos to review. All submissions should provide a link to a portfolio page or case study with multiple images. The more information you can provide, the more likely a brand will be reviewed.

Only real projects will be reviewed, please don’t link to concept logos or proposed rebrands.

Submission does not guarantee a review. Size, quality and other subjective factors all play into what might be reviewed.
